Our goat logo is based on an encounter when we were walking on the mountain.
Mount Pelion is an all-weather walker’s paradise. In Summer it is cooler high up than down by the sea.
In Autumn the Mountain changes colour from dark green to crimson, as all the beech trees turn. In
Winter the higher slopes are turned into a snowscape breath-taking in its beauty. But the best time to
walk is the Spring. The wild flowers compete, and by Easter the whole Mountain is a garden of colours.
It was in Spring that we encountered the goat, who told us in no uncertain terms it was his mountain.
Probably the goat belonged to a farmer, and ended up one year as a spit-roasted treat on Easter Sunday.
